ABOUT US
J.K. AVTAR GROUP had started its business in the year 1997 by setting up its first cement grinding unit in the name of JK AVTAR (P) LTD. (formerly known as Kamakhya Cement Industries).
After successful completion of the project and vast demand of cement, the Director/Promoter of the company decided to set up another full fledged cement plant and accordingly on 20.08.2003 VSK cum cement grinding unit was started with the dynamic leadership of the Managing Director of the company Mr. P.S.Gujral and our banker Punjab National Bank, Guwahati.
Further the demand of cement in North East is increasing day by day and unable to feed the demand, the Director/Promoter agian proposed to expand the capacity of the plant and accordingly in the year April 2012, the expansion of the plant was sucessfully completed with the Dynamic leadership of Mr. P.S.Gujral (MD) and financial help from our banker, HDFC Bank Ltd.
The Company is presently manufacturing Portland Pozzalona Cement (PPC) as per IS:1489: Part 2: 1991 and Ordinary Portland Cement – 43 Grade (OPC-43) as per IS: 8112:1989.
BRIEF OF POMOTER/DIRECTOR:
Mr. Prahlad Singh Gujral
Mr. Prahlad Singh Gujral, son of Late Avtar Singh Gujral, aged about 52 years, resident of Guwahati as well as Kolkata is a dynamic businessman. He possess a wide range of family business. He holds the directorship of various family owned companies including M/S Dreamland Apartments (P) Ltd. and J.K. Avtar (P) Ltd.
Mr. Gujral possesses a wide range of experience in running numerous businesses. He runs a Bar cum Restaurant at Allahabad, UP, also runs Hotel at Lindsay Street, New Market, Kolkata. He is the main person running the cement plant namely J.K. Avtar (P) Ltd. at Byrnihat, Kamrup, Assam. He is the main promoter behind Dreamland Apartments (P) Ltd. as narrated above. The family also owns a cinema hall, a cold storage and ice factory at Allahabad, apart from various other businesses.
BRAND & MARKETING POLICY:
Our Cement Brand name is "J.K. Avtar Cement". We are presently producing PPC & OPC-43Grade Cement and supplying the same throughout the entire North Eastern Region Specially in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur etc. We have our dealer network for supplying the cement in every district.
Further we are selling our Cement at EX-Factory Price with payments in advance.
